The Opportunity: We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a continuous improvement mindset to join our Process Efficiency team within Ashurst Service Central (ASC). As a Business Analyst in ASC, you will play a hands‑on role in service and process improvements across Business Services. You will lead workshops, gather requirements and run CI events to help design a better experience for partners, clients and internal teams. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys looking for solutions. You will work closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders to turn improvement ideas into practical, measurable outcomes. You will also act as a subject matter expert in process analysis and documentation, leading and facilitating workshops, problem solving sessions and process reviews.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Deliver service design and continuous improvement initiatives from start to finish, following agreed project and CI methods.
  • Lead end‑to‑end process optimisation work to improve efficiency, quality and user experience.
  • Facilitate and lead process mapping, discovery and problem‑solving workshops to understand current processes, identify pain points and agree improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure process and service changes are joined up and deliverable.
  • Develop and manage clear improvement plans and priorities, balancing delivery pace with operational impact.

This is a full‑time, permanent role based in our Glasgow office with hybrid working.

About you:

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within a shared services, outsourcing or complex global environment.
  • Proven ability to lead process and service improvements.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating process mapping, problem solving and improvement workshops with a range of stakeholders.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and able to build trust and manage expectations.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Practitioner or similar is preferred. If not certified, a strong CI delivery background (4 years+) is essential.
