Essential Skills and Experience
Reach by Ashurst Perkins Coie are recruiting an experienced lawyer with a strong background in employment, to join a leading legal team within our clients on a 6-month contract basis. We are looking for consultant lawyers who can:
- Develop and implement best practice legal strategies for risk management and compliance in employment matters.
- Provide expert legal advice and support to Human Resources and business units on a wide range of employment issues, including recruitment, policy, diversity, change programs, investigations, disputes, compensation, benefits, and pensions.
- Represent the bank in legal proceedings related to employment, such as litigation, arbitration, and regulatory investigations.
- Draft, review, and update legal documents, including employee contracts, policies, severance agreements, incentive plans, and pension documentation.
- Develop and deliver training programmes to educate employees on legal and regulatory requirements related to employment, incentives, and pensions.
Essential Skills
Qualified solicitor or barrister in the UK (or equivalent commonwealth jurisdiction), with experience in a leading law firm and/or in-house, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and technical excellence in employment law, including strong litigation experience.
