The Opportunity

Working as part of our global Risk & Compliance function, the Business Acceptance team is responsible for ensuring the firm is protected from reputational, legal, and commercial risks. This includes analysing all new clients and matters to identify and resolve legal and commercial conflicts of interest, ensuring compliance with anti‑money laundering and counter‑terrorist financing (AML/CTF) obligations, meeting international regulatory requirements for sanctions and politically exposed persons (PEPs), and client‑related adverse media.

This is a Supervisor position within the team, combining hands‑on risk and compliance delivery with day‑to‑day leadership of Analysts and Senior Analysts. The role involves preparing detailed risk assessments, navigating complex client structures, and engaging confidently with Partners and Senior Management. Alongside this technical work, the Supervisor will drive quality standards, lead training and development, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the function.

The position sits within a global team with colleagues across Glasgow, London, Dubai, Singapore, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and New Zealand, working together to provide risk and conflicts clearance that supports partners and clients alike in their pursuit of exciting deals across the globe.

The role is ideally suited to an individual with a clear and confident communication style, strong research and analytical skills, and a desire to work collaboratively with a dynamic and motivated team. The successful candidate will have the ability to work well under pressure and the professionalism to represent the function at all levels of the firm. A legal qualification is not essential, but problem solving, leadership, and sound judgement are key.

This is a full‑time, permanent role based in our Glasgow office with hybrid working.
