The Opportunity:
We are recruiting an experienced coordinator to support legal learning and expertise community coordination in the EMEA region.
This hands-on role combines program logistics, stakeholder engagement, data management and process improvement. You will act as the central support point for expertise lawyers, practice-based administrators and senior leaders across EMEA, ensuring legal learning programs and expertise community activities run smoothly.
You will be joining an expert, dynamic, friendly and well-supported global community of expertise lawyers and other Knowledge & Expertise (K&E) specialists.
(K&E) is a highly regarded, global function encompassing expertise and legal learning, research and business intelligence, and knowledge management.
Key Responsibilities
You will help deliver two key areas of K&E's strategy:
- Strengthening how we coordinate expert lawyers and administer expertise across Ashurst Perkins Coie. You will support cross-practice initiatives and expertise planning, drive consistency in resourcing, and coordinate support for practice-based Expertise Lawyers and their administrators.
- Delivering a cross-practice legal learning program to uplift the capabilities of Ashurst Perkins Coie lawyers across EMEA. You will coordinate hybrid and virtual learning sessions with practice-based partners, legal staff, expertise lawyers and other business services groups (including Learning & Organizational Development and Business Development teams). The role may extend to supporting client training programs.
You will report to the Director of Expertise and Legal Learning, EMEA. This is a full-time, permanent position, based in our London office with hybrid working.

The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant experience coordinating training, events or programs in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing deadlines.
- Proactive, with a "can do" attitude and a drive to improve processes.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-changing environment.
