The Senior Group Financial Reporting Manager role will lead the group financial reporting team in delivering accurate and timely financial statements for multiple entities within the Ashurst group and the associated year end audit process.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Overseeing and reviewing the preparation of Group, UK subsidiaries and holding company financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant accounting standards.
- Ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Leading the external year end audit, working closely with auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Leading the financial reporting team and providing guidance and support to the wider Group Finance team, to ensure high performance.
About you:
The successful candidate will have:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICAS, ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent).
- Extensive knowledge of financial standards - IFRS /UK GAAP and technical accounting knowledge.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Extensive experience of working in an international and multi-currency business and the consolidating Group financial reporting.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in managing a financial reporting team and managing year-end audits.
