We are seeking an enthusiastic Solicitor to join our highly regarded, friendly and inclusive Private Client team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a 2-4 PQE lawyer to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking Private Client team. You will have your own caseload and work closely with experienced colleagues across a broad range of matters (Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Administration of Estates and Trusts), advising clients on all aspects of lifetime planning and private client work, while building your own client relationships.

The team acts for a diverse client base including elderly and vulnerable clients, high net worth individuals, business owners, landowners and agricultural clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing your own caseload of private client matters
  • Advising on wills, estate planning and probate administration
  • Supporting clients with lasting powers of attorney and court of protection work
  • Assisting with more complex matters including trusts and tax planning (with supervision as needed)
  • Building and maintaining good client relationships
  • Supporting business development and networking activities
About You
  • Qualified Solicitor with 2-4 years’ PQE in Private Client
  • Solid grounding in lifetime planning matters, including wills and probate
  • Strong technical ability with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work
  • Interest in developing expertise in more complex private client matters
  • A STEP qualification or working towards it would be advantageous but is not essential
