As we look to capitalise on our current market position as the number one agency in Hertfordshire selling more homes in the AL postcodes than any other business, we are actively looking to connect with talented Senior Sales Negotiators for our St Albans office. The successful candidate will be a proactive, energised team player, who will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the Estate Agency Industry.
With separate Administration, Sales Progression and Accounts departments, the primary focus will be on building market share in a competitive environment, without the paperwork and administration ‘negatives’ sometimes attributed to sales roles. We do things a little differently here at Ashtons and have become known for our ‘out of box thinking’ and pioneering ideas to positively shape the journey our clients experience. So, you will have to embrace change in a positive way, for example we employ professional viewing guides to offer our clients a great viewing experience, this also allows you to do what you do best, generate market appraisal opportunities, build strong long-lasting relationships, negotiate deals and be there to support our client in every step of their home move experience.
Your primary responsibility will be to generate market appraisals for our valuers to attend, you then partner with that valuer to support our clients on every step of their home move journey, once we have been instructed. Negotiation is central to everything that we do, and you will be required to work with intelligent clients, building trusted relationships at every opportunity. Applicant’s Skillset
- Generating new business by contacting and forging relationships with potential buyers and sellers.
- Proactively marketing our stock through means of call outs and marketing strategies.
- Appraising clients of viewing feedback in accordance with prescribed service standards.
- Reviewing property marketing every fortnight. Recommending market updates and guidance.
- Ensuring offers are financially evaluated, put forward, and confirmed in writing.
- Contacting applicants by telephone, email and post, to book viewings and identifying opportunities for Potential Instructions where relevant.

Remuneration: OTE with Commission: £35,000 - £38,500
Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am – 6.00pm, 1-in-4 Saturdays 9.00am to 5.00pm
Additional Benefits Package: Parking Permit provided by business, 29 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays), competitions, company parties, monthly lunches, end of month drinks provided by the business.
