Position: Yard Operative/ Forklift Driver
Location: Nutts Corner
Duration: Temporary
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 4pm
Duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Receiving, handling and control of raw materials and goods supplied, so that it is determined whether deliveries are in accordance with the purchase order and shipping documents, and are in good condition.
- Packaging & storing materials by forklift ensuring they are stored in the allocated location
- Conducting inventory & stock checks and reporting any discrepancies
- Ensuring work place is kept clean & tidy to avoid any health & safety breaches
- Following all health & safety procedures as laid out by the business
- Communication with colleagues & supervisors to ensure all work is completed
- Working in compliance with health & safety regulations as directed by the client
Essential Criteria:
- Valid Counterbalance forklift licence
- Previous experience within a warehouse/ yard environment
