Due to continued growth and new contract awards, we are now recruiting an experienced Painter for ongoing, full-time work across Warrenpoint and the wider South Down area, primarily within public sector and social housing projects.

Role Overview

You will carry out interior and exterior painting, including full surface preparation (sanding, filling, priming), delivering consistently high-quality finishes. The role involves working in a thriving, performance-driven environment, completing response maintenance tasks and meeting strict deadlines.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out painting work to a high-quality standard
  • Complete response maintenance and repair tasks
  • Work to tight deadlines within a performance-driven environment
  • Communicate effectively with management and the Quantity Surveyor
  • Survey and itemise works within occupied residential properties
  • Deliver work in line with company standards and client expectations
  • Maintain a professional and respectful approach with the public
  • Comply with data protection policies and procedures
  • Support general operations and ad-hoc project work
  • Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policies

Essential Criteria

  • Relevant trade qualification with certification
  • Valid CSR Card or recognised Health & Safety training
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven painting experience within the construction industry
  • Experience working on social housing or public sector contracts

Key Attributes

  • Ability to work independently using own initiative
  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends if required

Additional Information

Work is primarily within occupied social housing and public sector properties. A successful Access NI check is required as part of onboarding.
