Warehouse & Trade Counter Supervisor
Are you a motivated warehouse professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of operations, and interacting with customers? We are looking for a Warehouse & Trade Counter Supervisor to join our clients team and play a key role in both warehouse management and trade counter operations.
This role isn\’t just about managing stock – it\’s about delivering an exceptional customer experience at the trade counter while ensuring the smooth running of warehouse operations. You\’ll be responsible for goods in, dispatch, stock control, and supporting customer-facing operations to drive sales and maintain our reputation for excellent service.

We\’re looking for someone who thrives on leading a team, managing multiple priorities, and delivering customer service excellence. Your experience at the trade counter will be vital, helping to guide and support customers, process orders efficiently, and provide knowledgeable advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and manage goods coming into the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and stock integrity
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch to customers
- Lead and manage the trade counter, providing a professional, knowledgeable, and customer-focused service
- Assist customers with enquiries, order processing, and product selection at the trade counter
- Support deliveries and collections, ensuring all stock is transported safely and efficiently
- Maintain warehouse organisation, keeping stock accessible and the workspace safe and tidy
- Oversee stock control processes, including recording, tracking, and reconciling inventory
- Complete administrative duties linked to delivery notes, stock procedures, and reporting
- Ensure all Health & Safety policies and procedures are adhered to, maintaining a secure and hazard-free workplace
- Train, motivate, and support warehouse and trade counter staff to maintain high standards and efficient operations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and customer service processes
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a trade counter or customer-facing role, ideally within a warehouse or distribution environment
- Clean driving licence
- Counterbalance forklift licence
- Proven experience supervising a busy warehouse operation
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels
- People management experience, including coaching, motivating, and developing team members
