Our Belfast-based client is presently recruiting Traffic Management Operatives to oversee and coordinate traffic flow throughout Northern Ireland. If you possess a valid UK driving license and enjoy being on the road, this role could be an excellent fit. You will be provided with all the training and qualifications you need to become a fully certified Traffic Management Operative. We also assign each Traffic Management Trainee Operative with a fully qualified 'buddy' who will mentor and teach you throughout your training.

Position: Traffic Management Operatives

Location: Belfast

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Hours of Work: 8am - 4pm. Times may vary

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing various traffic management systems like contraflows, narrow lane systems, and temporary traffic lights
  • Collaborating within a team to ensure accurate setup of traffic management flow as per design specifications
  • Operating and installing traffic management equipment across Northern Ireland
  • Supervising traffic flow at temporary lights during road works or lane closures
  • Providing exceptional customer service, potentially interacting with the public

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Maximum of 6 points on the license
  • Previous experience in labouring, warehousing, or manual handling

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid CSR Card
  • Prior experience in traffic management
