The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor - Fabrication to oversee day-to-day fabrication operations. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on maintaining quality standards, improving workflow efficiency, and supporting team development within a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily fabrication activities to ensure safe and efficient production output
- Plan and monitor workflows to minimise downtime and maintain consistent throughput
- Maintain high welding quality standards across all fabrication work
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, fit-up and overall quality
- Train, coach and support team members to improve skills and performance
- Assist with onboarding and mentoring new fabrication staff
- Oversee correct use and maintenance of jigs and fixtures for consistent output
- Collaborate with management to resolve production issues and drive improvements
- Promote strong health & safety practices and good housekeeping standards
About You
- Proven experience within fabrication or a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of welding quality and fabrication standards
- Practical knowledge of production workflows and process improvement
- Ability to lead by example in a hands-on role
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
