We are seeking a skilled Evening Banksman to join our Belfast operation, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles across a busy, fast-paced site. As a key player in our operational safety, you'll take charge of coordinating traffic flow, guiding drivers, and keeping the yard running smoothly. You'll work closely with our team to maintain a safe environment, prevent hazards, and ensure that every vehicle moves safely and efficiently.
Salary: £14.81 per hour
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8pm to 7:30am
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Your responsibilities will include:
- Directing and coordinating the movement of vehicles on site
- Ensuring safe manoeuvring, with minimal reversing, using hand signals, radio, or verbal communication
- Guiding drivers to loading and unloading areas
- Identifying and managing hazards, blind spots, and unsafe conditions
- Enforcing traffic management measures and maintaining pedestrian-free zones
- Monitoring safety equipment such as cones, barriers, and warning signs
Essential:
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Experience in logistics or warehousing
Desirable:
- Banksman experience
- Banksman certification
