Position: Contracts Manager
Location: Warrenpoint
Duration: Permanent
Pay Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
The successful candidate will be joining an established contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality works and responsive services across a range of sectors. The organisation is known for its professional approach, strong client relationships and commitment to delivering results safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NEC Contracts Manager to lead the day-to-day administration and compliance of an NEC contract, ensuring high-quality service delivery and strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective contract management and ensure compliance with contract requirements
- Prepare and deliver monthly performance reports, including attending internal meetings
- Manage resources to deliver responsive repairs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Meet professionally with clients and supply chain partners, ensuring clear communication across all parties
- Monitor and manage KPIs, ensuring targets are achieved both internally and client-side
- Support contract claims, queries and variations, including reviewing and recommending payment assessments
- Certify invoices and monitor expenditure against agreed budget
- Work with the wider team to produce accurate and prudent cost-value analysis (CVA)
- Uphold and follow Data Protection policies at all times
- Carry out any additional duties as required
Essential Experience:
- Degree in Construction, Commercial Management or equivalent
- NEC accreditation or proven NEC4 contract management experience (e.g. MRICS, MCIOB)
- Minimum 5 years experience managing contracts with an annual turnover of £2m - £5m
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Be capable of working on own initiative
- Ability to work methodically and with attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Have a good timekeeping and attendance record
- Have excellent organisational skills
- Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards assigned tasks
Desirable criteria:
- Experience delivering public sector or education authority contracts.
