Salary: £36,000 per annum

Hours of work: 40 hours per week on a rota basis, 4 x 10-hour shifts, Sunday to Wednesday, 1:00pm - 11:30pm

Ashton Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Cash Processing Supervisor on behalf of our client based in Belfast. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and well-established organisation operating within the cash management and security sector. Our client provides specialist cash management, ATM, coin, and secure processing services across the UK and Ireland and is seeking an experienced and motivated supervisor to support the continued growth of their Belfast operation.

This role would suit someone with previous supervisory or team leadership experience who enjoys working within a fast-paced operational environment and can lead by example while maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and performance.

The Role

Working as part of the management team, the successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day running of the Cash Processing Department, ensuring operational efficiency, team performance, and compliance standards are maintained at all times. Duties will include:

  • Supervising the daily operation of the Cash Processing Department
  • Supporting and motivating operational staff within a fast-paced environment
  • Managing staff rotas and updating internal systems
  • Monitoring departmental performance and workflow
  • Completing reports and maintaining audit trails
  • Supporting compliance, operational, and Health & Safety procedures
  • Working closely with management, staff, and customers
  • Assisting with wider operational duties across the business as required

Essential Criteria

  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience using Microsoft Office packages
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively
  • Flexible and reliable approach to work

Candidates should also possess excellent written, verbal, and numeracy skills alongside the ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.

Due to the nature of the role, successful candidates will be required to complete a detailed screening and vetting process prior to employment commencing. This includes:
