Ashton Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, Around Noon, for an Evening Hygiene Operative to join their production team.

Location: Newry

Pay: National Minimum Wage

Hours: Monday - Friday, 15:00 - 22:00 with the option to work later

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and understands the importance of maintaining exceptional hygiene standards within a food manufacturing environment.

The Role

  • Deep clean production areas following the end of production
  • Clean and sanitise machinery and equipment
  • Carry out scheduled hygiene tasks to the required standard
  • Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Complete cleaning records where required
  • Follow strict food hygiene and health & safety procedures
  • Report any maintenance or hygiene concerns to management

What We're Looking For

  • Reliable, hardworking and self-motivated
  • Comfortable working in a production environment
  • Willing to carry out physical cleaning duties
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Previous hygiene, industrial cleaning or food production experience is advantageous but not essential
