Location: Newry
Pay: National Minimum Wage
Hours: Monday - Friday, 15:00 - 22:00 with the option to work later
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and understands the importance of maintaining exceptional hygiene standards within a food manufacturing environment.
The Role
- Deep clean production areas following the end of production
- Clean and sanitise machinery and equipment
- Carry out scheduled hygiene tasks to the required standard
- Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Complete cleaning records where required
- Follow strict food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Report any maintenance or hygiene concerns to management
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, hardworking and self-motivated
- Comfortable working in a production environment
- Willing to carry out physical cleaning duties
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Previous hygiene, industrial cleaning or food production experience is advantageous but not essential
