The Role
As a Hygiene Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring production and service areas are kept clean, safe and hygienic throughout the working day, helping the business maintain the highest food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise production and service areas
- Maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the facility
- Dispose of waste safely and correctly
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with company procedures
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to schedule
- Follow all health and safety and food hygiene procedures
- Support the wider production team as required
What We're Looking For
- Reliable with an excellent work ethic
- Happy working in a fast-paced production environment
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual cleaning duties
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous cleaning or production experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided
