Our client, a large logistics company based in Dungannon are currently hiring a HGV 1 Driver to operate their class 1 Lorries transporting materials throughout Northern Ireland and ROI.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road but needs more fixed hours for a better work/ life balance. Our client prioritises their staff well being and ensures all employees feel part of a team leading to great reviews from their long term employees.
Position: HGV 1 Driver
Location: Dungannon
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £20.00 per hour
Hours of Work: Core hours- Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm/5am to 3pm (Until finish)
Duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Transporting grain and other products across NI & ROI
- Working with Bulk Tippers and Walking floor trailers
- Assisting with loading & offloading of grain and other raw materials
- Dealing with customers and clients face to face
- Adhering to all health & safety procedures as set out by the business
- Ability to work in a dusty environment- working with grain& sand
Essential Criteria:
- Valid UK Clean category C+E Driving Licence
- Must be over 25 years old
- Minimum of 3 years experience
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience working with grain
