Our client, a well-established logistics company based in Belfast, is currently expanding their team and seeking a reliable Class 1 driver. This role involves operating Class 1 lorries transporting materials between sites across Northern Ireland, working closely with a major aerospace company. The business is known for putting employee wellbeing first, creating a strong team culture and receiving excellent feedback from long-term staff.

Position: HGV 1 Driver - Nightshift

Location: Belfast

Duration: Permanent

Rate of Pay: £17.21 per hour

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 8:00pm - 7:00am

Duties:

  • Transporting large goods to and from various sites across Northern Ireland
  • Providing business-to-business logistics and transport support to a large aerospace company
  • Assisting with the loading and offloading of aerospace components
  • Shunting aerospace parts between sites within the yard
  • Working in full compliance with company health and safety procedures

Essential Criteria:

  • Valid, clean UK Category C+E driving licence
  • Minimum of 1 year HGV 1 driving experience
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience transporting oversized loads
