Ashton Recruitment are hiring a Forklift Driver for our client based in Belfast Harbour, our client offers a great working environment along with various training opportunities to upskill. This position will be full time with a view of becoming permanent after 12 weeks probationary period.
Position: Forklift Driver β Counterbalance
Location: Belfast Harbour
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Rate of Pay: Β£14 per hour (Potential rate increase once full training is completed)
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Operating a range of forklift trucks
- Unloading steel from ships
- Loading and off-loading steel trailers
- General stevedoring duties
- Material handling & stock control
- Equipment checks & maintenance
- Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures
- Assisting team members
- Flexibility to meet operational demands
- Supporting training and upskilling
Essential Criteria:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- 2 to 3 Years previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift
