Our client is an award winning and innovative manufacturing company based in County Down, designing and producing some of the most technologically advanced agricultural and industrial machinery in Northern Ireland. We are seeking motivated and skilled Assembly Fitters to join our growing manufacturing team. Working within our modern final assembly department, you will play a key role in bringing our innovative machinery to life, taking products from painted components through to fully completed, customer-ready machines. This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced agricultural and industrial equipment in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment, with ongoing training and development provided.
Duties:
- Assemble a wide range of sub-assemblies and complete machines to the highest standards.
- Install and connect basic 12V electrical systems and components.
- Plumb hydraulic systems, including proportional hydraulic circuits.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the build process to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Identify and report any issues or improvements during assembly.
Essential Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Previous experience working within an engineering, manufacturing, assembly, or mechanical fitting environment.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and health and safety requirements.
