Our client manufactures high-quality kitchen and bedroom doors. They are looking for a reliable, hardworking General Operative to support production across the factory while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
We're recruiting General Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Cookstown. This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated individuals who enjoy hands‑on work and want to build a long-term career within a supportive production environment.

Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday 6:30am to 5:15pm
Pay
£12.71 per hour, increasing to £12.91 per hour after successfully completing the 6‑month probation period.

Main Duties
- Support operations across multiple production departments.
- Assist with the manufacture, assembly and preparation of finished products.
- Operate woodworking and manufacturing machinery safely (full training provided).
- Prepare materials and assist skilled operatives to meet production targets.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Carry out manual handling, lifting, moving and stacking of materials.
- Follow quality procedures and standard operating processes.
- Work as part of the production team to achieve daily and weekly targets.
- Report any hazards and comply with all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or operative role is desirable but not essential.
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic spoken and written English.
