Ashton Recruitment are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator for our client based in Dunmurry, Belfast.
The successful applicant will have Machine shop experience in a variety of machines including manual lathes, pedestal drills, CNC lathes and machining centres.
Position: CNC Machine Shop Operator
Rate of Pay: £15 – £17 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours of work: 8am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday 8am – 1pm Friday
Essential Criteria
- At least 3 years post apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing machine shop.
- A minimum of grade C in GCSE Mathematics and English (or equivalent).
- Be competent in CNC Lathe Programming, Setting and Operating.
- Experience in using manual Lathes and CNC machining centres.
- Must also be competent in Fanuc control systems
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in using a wide selection of machine shop equipment and be able to support this in their CV.
- Experience of Mazatrol and/or Heidenhain control systems.
- Experience of 3 axis machines and powered tooling.
