Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality bespoke joinery, working from technical drawings and using modern machinery and traditional hand tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture bespoke joinery items from detailed drawings and specifications
- Measure, cut, assemble and finish timber products to a high standard
- Operate workshop machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Carry out quality checks on finished products
- Work closely with other joiners and production staff to meet deadlines
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop in line with health and safety requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Workshop Joiner
- NVQ Level 3 in Joinery or Carpentry or completed apprenticeship
- Strong experience producing high-quality joinery in a workshop environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical and manufacturing drawings
- Excellent attention to detail
