Ashton Recruitment are currently working with a respected manufacturing company based in West Belfast (Dunmurry area) who are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician who can progress to Manufacturing Engineer to join their team and play a key role in supporting production and continuous improvement.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a modern manufacturing environment producing high-quality precision instrumentation for a range of industrial applications. You will be involved in:
- Supporting production to achieve scheduled output
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues relating to product and equipment
- Supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing processes
- Assisting in maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems
- Working closely with production and engineering teams to improve efficiency and quality

What's on offer:
- Salary of £28,000 - £31,000 + per annum (depending on experience)

Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or 3 years' experience as a mechanical technician
- Ability to read and produce technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience of being involved as an internal quality auditor for ISO 9001 and 14001 would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
- Understanding of temperature and pressure equipment would be advantageous
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience acting as an internal auditor for ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 (training provided if required)
- Understanding of temperature and pressure-related equipment
- Experience working within a regulated or quality-driven manufacturing environment
