We are currently recruiting a pool of Port Operatives to support a number of busy clients in the Duncrue area of Belfast. If you enjoy hands-on work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are happy to take on a variety of tasks, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As a Port Operative, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly, assisting with the movement of goods, container unloading, site housekeeping, and general labouring duties.

Position Details

  • Work Location: Duncrue, Belfast
  • Rate: £12.96 per hour
  • Overtime Rate: £15.96 per hour after 6pm and on weekends
  • Hours: 8am to 5pm
  • Duration: Temporary Ongoing (Shifts will be confirmed on a Weekly/ Daily Basis)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of containers
  • Moving goods safely around site
  • Carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling duties
  • General housekeeping and cleaning duties

  • Following all health and safety procedures
  • Undertaking additional labouring duties as required

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, or labouring environment
  • Ability to undertake heavy lifting and physical work

  • Excellent attendance and timekeeping record
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to undertake a variety of tasks as required
