Ashton Recruitment require an Operations Administrator for our client based in Belfast.

Location: Belfast

Duration: Temporary-Permanent

Pay Rate: £13.08 per hour

Hours of work: Monday - Friday

Duties will include:

  • Undertake a range of administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the office and wider business operations.
  • Act as a first point of contact for telephone and email enquiries, providing professional and timely support to customers, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, trackers, and internal systems to monitor progress across projects and operational activities.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and documentation as required for management, audits, or compliance purposes.
  • Support the delivery and coordination of ongoing projects by liaising with stakeholders, scheduling appointments, and ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Operations Team and Office Manager, assisting with scheduling, record keeping, and general office management duties.
  • Contribute to the improvement of administrative processes and systems, promoting efficiency and a high standard of service throughout the business.

Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent general administration skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office to include Excel, Word and Outlook, good understanding of SharePoint, experience of using bespoke databases.
  • Good communication skills when dealing with customers.
  • You will have contact with various stakeholders, from customers, installers, colleagues from other departments and you will be the key point of contact for all.
  • Due to the nature of the business, there will be conflicting priorities and the ability to organise will be key to this role.
