Are you a hands-on Manufacturing Technician looking for a permanent role within a well-established and growing engineering business? Ashton Recruitment are currently working with a respected manufacturing company based in West Belfast (Dunmurry area) who are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician who can progress to Manufacturing Engineer to join their team and play a key role in supporting production and continuous improvement.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a modern manufacturing environment producing high-quality precision instrumentation for a range of industrial applications. You will be involved in:

  • Supporting production to achieve scheduled output
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues relating to product and equipment
  • Supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing processes
  • Assisting in maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems
  • Working closely with production and engineering teams to improve efficiency and quality

This is an excellent opportunity for a Technician who enjoys being hands-on and wants to make a real impact within a growing business.

  • Salary of £28,000 - £31,000 + per annum (depending on experience)

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or 3 years' experience as a mechanical technician
  • Ability to read and produce technical drawings and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience of being involved as an internal quality auditor for ISO 9001 and 14001 would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
  • Understanding of temperature and pressure equipment would be advantageous

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience acting as an internal auditor for ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 (training provided if required)
  • Understanding of temperature and pressure-related equipment
  • Experience working within a regulated or quality-driven manufacturing environment
