Position: Stock & Logistics Coordinator
Location: Duncrue, Belfast
Duration: Temporary-Permanent
Pay Rate: £14 - £15 per hour (depending on experience)

Our client is a long-established shipping and logistics company providing port agency, terminal and cargo services across Belfast Harbour. They are seeking a highly organised Support Administrator to support both administrative and operational functions, with a particular focus on stock coordination, tracking, and control. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics environment and takes pride in accuracy, accountability, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the logistics team by managing inboxes, calls, and general communications.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper records in line with company procedures.
- Prepare operational reports and summaries under guidance.
- Act as a point of contact for routine client and agent enquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, materials, and cargo movements across the site.
- Monitor stock levels and reconcile discrepancies to ensure nothing is unaccounted for.
- Investigate and flag any stock inconsistencies or missing items promptly.
- Liaise with operational teams to track incoming and outgoing goods.
- Ensure all stock movements are correctly logged within internal systems.
- Support audits and stock checks, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Support the daily activities of the logistics team.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous administrative experience within a busy office or logistics environment.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling data, stock, or documentation.
- Experience or exposure to stock control, inventory tracking, or reconciliation is highly desirable.
- Good communication skills and confidence dealing with colleagues and customers.
- Basic IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work proactively, identify issues, and follow through to resolution.
- Positive, team-focused approach with a strong sense of accountability.
