This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and well-established organisation operating within the cash management and security logistics sector. Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of a busy Belfast operation, leading operational teams and ensuring high standards of service, compliance, and efficiency are maintained at all times. This role would suit someone with strong operational or logistics supervisory experience who enjoys working within a fast-paced environment and can confidently lead teams while managing performance, planning, and operational delivery.
The Role
- Working within a secure and fast-moving operational environment, the successful candidate will oversee branch operations, support driver management, coordinate fleet activity, and ensure operational targets and compliance standards are achieved.
- Supervising daily operational activities within the secure operations area
- Leading and motivating a team of approximately 50 drivers
- Supporting route planning, fleet utilisation, and operational scheduling
- Monitoring operational performance and service delivery
- Managing rosters, audit trails, and daily operational reports
- Updating internal systems and transport management systems (TMS)
- Monitoring fuel usage, telematics, and operational KPIs
- Ensuring compliance with operator licence and Health & Safety requirements
- Maintaining high standards of security, accuracy, and professionalism
Essential Criteria
- Previous operations, transport, or logistics supervisory experience
- Strong fleet management and route planning experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Health & Safety awareness
- Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions
- Reliable, organised, and proactive approach to work
- Ability to lead and motivate operational teams effectively

Due to the nature of the role, successful candidates will be required to complete a detailed screening and vetting process prior to employment commencing.
