Ashton Recruitment requires an AV Installation Technician for our client based in Belfast. The successful candidate should be from an electrical and/or audio visual background. Training will be provided at Headquarters in Belfast. Position: AV Installation Technician Location: Belfast Duration: Permanent Rate of Pay: £30 – £35k depending on experience Duties will include (but not be limited to): Hands on installation of audiovisual systems including projectors, displays, sound systems, video conferencing equipment, control systems, and related components. Use of hand tools and battery powered drills will be required. Ensuring proper cable routing and management to maintain neatness and functionality of installations. Configuration and calibration of audiovisual systems for optimal performance, including audio levels, video resolution, and control interfaces. Conducting comprehensive testing of installed systems to identify and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies. Providing training to clients on the operation and maintenance of audiovisual systems to ensure optimal utilization and longevity. Coordinating with other trades and contractors on job sites to ensure seamless integration of audiovisual systems with overall construction or renovation projects. Maintenance of high standards of quality and workmanship in all installations, adhering to industry best practices and safety protocols. Essential Criteria: Previous experience in an Electrical and/or AV role. Full, Clean, UK Driving Licence.
