You'll be responsible for handling, storing, and checking materials, ensuring the yard runs smoothly and safely every day. This is ideal for someone who thrives in a practical, hands-on role and enjoys being part of a team focused on efficiency and safety.
Position Details- Location: Nutts Corner
- Rate: £13.00 per hour
- Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday 8:00am-4:00pm
- Contract: Temporary to permanent
- Receiving, handling, and inspecting incoming raw materials and goods
- Operating a forklift to package, store, and move materials to allocated locations
- Conducting inventory and stock checks, reporting discrepancies
- Keeping the yard and workspace clean, safe, and organised
- Following all health & safety procedures and regulations
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure work is completed efficiently
- Valid Counterbalance forklift licence
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or yard environment
