Ashton Recruitment is seeking a reliable Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe and presentable retail environment at a shopping centre in Derry/Londonderry
Cleaner (8 hours per week)
Location: Derry/Londonderry
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:00am-9:00am - 8 hours per week
Duties:
- Clean and maintain the shop floor and designated staff areas.
- Sweep, vacuum and mop floors, ensuring walkways are clean and free from hazards.
- Dust and wipe accessible surfaces, counters and frequently touched areas.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in the designated areas.
- Clean staff facilities and toilets where required.
- Keep cleaning equipment clean, maintained and stored safely.
- Use cleaning products and chemicals in accordance with Health and Safety requirements.
- Complete scheduled cleaning tasks to the required standard.
- Report hazards, maintenance issues or shortages of cleaning supplies.
Essential Criteria:
- Ability to commit to the working hours required, including early starts.
- Previous professional cleaning experience, ideally within a retail environment.
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
- Good attention to detail.
- A reliable and professional approach.
- Excellent customer service skills.
