Groundworker / Porcelain Paving Specialist
Locations: Bangor & Donaghadee
Pay: £17.00-£20.00 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm | Friday, 8am-3pm
Duration: A few weeks, with potential for extension
Start: Immediate
Requirement: Valid CSR Card
Are you an experienced Groundworker with a strong background in laying porcelain slabs and patios?
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction company for a skilled Groundworker to join their team, working across sites in Bangor and Donaghadee.
This is a temporary opportunity for a few weeks, with the potential for an extension. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and has a real eye for detail, particularly when it comes to porcelain paving, patios and high-quality outdoor finishes.
Duties will include:
- Laying porcelain slabs and patio areas
- Preparing ground and sub-bases ready for paving
- Setting levels, falls and gradients correctly
- Cutting and fitting porcelain slabs to a high standard
- Mixing and applying appropriate materials
- Ensuring patios and paving are properly aligned, level and finished
- General groundworks and landscaping duties as required
- Working safely and efficiently across different sites
We are looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in groundworks and patio installation
- Has strong experience specifically with porcelain slabs and paving
- Holds a valid CSR Card
- Takes pride in producing a high-quality finish
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Is reliable and available for an immediate start
Pay is negotiable between £17.00 and £20.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
