The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint a talented and hard‑working Teaching Assistant 2 SEN to join our dedicated team at Ashton on Mersey School.
The core purpose of the role will be to work under the instruction and guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
Responsibilities
- Work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes.
- Enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
- Carry work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
- Supervise groups of pupils undertaking activities in non‑teaching situations when required.
