Ashton Gate Stadium is a unique sports and entertainment business with the core aim of providing integral support services to ensure the sustainability of Stephen Lansdown’s sporting group of companies which includes Bristol Sport, Bristol City, Bristol Bears, Bristol Flyers Basketball and each of their respective community charities.

Job Information

  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Hours: 37.5 per week
  • Pay: £13.52 per hour

Job Purpose: Fully support the Kitchen team in maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness standards in all the stadium kitchens, including all equipment and store areas.

Key Responsibilities (KPIs):

  • Using the dishwashers and equipment provided to ensure all cleaning jobs are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Collect and wash up pots and pans.
  • Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
  • Unload and put away food and equipment deliveries.
  • Keep the storeroom organised, clean and tidy ensuring stock rotation is fully covered.
  • Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Good time management.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Basic food hygiene and cleanliness awareness.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or catering.

Health and Safety:

  • Responsible for ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times, with relevant paperwork to support.
  • Ensure all employees complete the required training to do their job.
  • Report all incidents and accidents as required.
  • Report any hazards detected.
  • Complete and review the risk assessments for the department.
