About Ashton Gate Stadium Ashton Gate Stadium is a unique sports and entertainment business that plays a pivotal role in supporting the sustainability of Stephen Lansdown’s sporting group of companies. These include Bristol Sport, Bristol City FC, Bristol Bears, Bristol Flyers Basketball, and their respective community charities.

Job Purpose To support the Executive Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering high-quality food across a variety of events and menus. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for managing a section of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, in line with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. This role also involves supervising junior kitchen staff and assisting with the development of menus and food offerings.

Key Objectives The ideal candidate will be experienced in a similar Chef De Partie role and hold a valid food hygiene certificate. They should possess a strong understanding of health and food safety regulations and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure kitchen environment. Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends, is essential.

Key Responsibilities (KPIs)

  • Assist the Sous Chef with the preparation and execution of all menus
  • Take ownership of a kitchen section and work autonomously when required
  • Support and supervise Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters during shifts
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and health & safety protocols
  • Present a professional appearance and uphold personal hygiene standards
  • Follow standard operating procedures for food delivery and preparation
  • Undertake any necessary training and development as required
  • Contribute creatively to menu development and innovation
  • Report maintenance or equipment issues through correct channels
  • Support the Head Chef with various kitchen-related tasks
  • Be confident and able to deliver/supervise an event
