Reports to: Head Chef

Shifts: 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days, shift times vary

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen Team. At Ashridge House we cater to a wide range of dining experiences from banqueting to barbequing. We pride ourselves on using local, seasonal and sustainable produce while working in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment. This role will suit a self‑motivated chef who has experience in banqueting in a high‑volume kitchen.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high quality food to recipe requirements
  • Quality control of each dish in both execution and presentation
  • Contribute ideas for new menus
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene within the Kitchen
  • Clearly communicate with the Front of House team to ensure smooth service delivery

Candidate Profile

  • Banqueting experience in a high‑volume kitchen
  • Experience of working in a fast‑paced kitchen
  • High level of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Must be able to commute to Ashridge House
