Job Title : Junior Gardener/ Gardener- dependent on Experience
Reports to: Head Gardener
Location: Ashridge House, Berkhamsted, HP4 1NS
Hours: Full time(8-4 Monday–Friday.Weekend Rota.).
The Opportunity
Awonderfulopportunity hasarisenfor a keen gardenertoworkwith thegarden’steam at Ashridge House.You will gain hands on experience ofmaintainingandrestoring thebeautiful,GradeII*,historic grounds.Therole will consist of all aspects of grounds maintenance varying from:lawn maintenance, hedge cutting,propagation,pruningand general day to daygrounds maintenance.
We are looking for someone withgardeningexperiencewho isconfident in the use of a variety of garden machinery.The right candidate should have apassion for gardening and enjoy working at a lively pace withaneye for detail and should be excited to work in acreitive,flexibleenvironmentin all weathers.
