Join our visiting care team in Richmond, London as a Part‑Time Care Assistant. This role requires just 4 hours per day and is ideal for students or professionals with other part‑time work. Our client is an engaging individual with a strong sense of humour who thrives on creative activity.
The Shift
The shift is 4 hours, seven days a week. It can be split between two people. Standard times are typically midday/early afternoon or late afternoon/early evening, but we can discuss adjustments to fit your commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute meaningful activities that keep the client engaged and active during the break period.
- Provide companionship and hands‑on projects such as baking treats, leading arts and crafts, music time and other creative pursuits.
- Offer attentive, stimulating companionship throughout the day.
Essential Requirements
- Professional experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities.
- Experience with epilepsy – ability to monitor and calmly respond to any needs or incidents.
- Reliability, creativity, punctuality and empathy to build a long‑term rapport with the client.
