Salary: £50,000-£60,000 a year (Pro-Rata) depending on experience and working hours

Job Role: We’re looking to hire an experienced Building or General Practice Surveyor who is MRICS or FRICS, with a practical mindset, a friendly, approachable demeanour, and a down-to-earth attitude. While we’re ideally seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to help enhance and expand our services, we’re also open to applications from qualified General Practice Chartered Surveyors. The ideal candidate will have the ability to offer pragmatic, balanced advice and will be motivated by the opportunity to earn a competitive salary in a relaxed yet professional environment.
Main Responsibilities: The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Inspect a wide range of Residential properties, and some Commercial properties when required.
- Produce Level 1-3 equivalent surveys for private clients using Ashmore Surveyors’ own bespoke survey report.
- Produce individual defect reports that comply with Lender requirements.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience: The successful candidate should possess the following:
- MRICS or FRICS Qualifications.
- VRS registration is preferred but not essential.
- Local property knowledge, primarily Coventry and Warwickshire, but also the West and East Midlands in general.
- Good literacy skills and experience of freestyle report writing (not based upon standard phrases).
- Confidence using basic technology.
- Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
