Do you have experience running shifts and administering medication? Are you passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care? We’re looking for caring, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals who go the extra mile for our residents. We currently have a vacancy at our Valley Lodge Care Home working 36.45 hours a week over 3 shifts. As a Senior Care Assistant at Ashmere Care Homes, you’ll play a key leadership role within our friendly care team, ensuring residents receive the best possible support and that each shift runs smoothly and professionally. You’ll lead by example, showing compassion, respect, and dedication in everything you do.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support care staff
  • Administer and record medication
  • Assist residents with personal care and mealtimes
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Liaise with the Home Manager, GPs, and nurses

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it), with previous experience running shifts and administering medication. We can support you with this should you be successful in gaining a role with us.
