About The Role
Valley Lodge is a 61 bedded care home consisting of residential rooms and a dementia household. As a Receptionist at Valley Lodge, you will, as and when required, cover busy periods, holidays and sickness. Flexibility to work over all shifts is essential. Please do not apply if you are not flexible for all shifts.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Meet and greet visitors into the home
- Answer calls
- Take minutes
- Provide general administration for the home as requested by the home management team
- Be responsible for the fire panel and procedures within the home
- Liaise with residents and relatives arranging family and friend visitation
- Deal with queries from doctors’ surgeries and other health professionals
- Handle calls regarding enquiries about the home
- Conduct show-rounds of the home to potential residents and their families
We are looking for someone with customer facing experience who has a passion for providing an excellent service, is highly organised and looking for a challenge in a busy role.
