Our Valley Lodge Care Home is currently looking for a part-time Hairdresser working 13 hours per week over 2 shifts. We have an outstanding reputation within the care home community as well as in the local community, and we have achieved Investors in People. We are dedicated to our staff and residents, ensuring a high quality of care is delivered at all times.
Ashmere Derbyshire is now looking for an experienced hairdresser to join our team to provide hairdressing to our lovely elderly ladies and gents. The role will be suitable for an experienced hairdresser that has either achieved NVQ 3 in hairdressing or has a minimum of 5 years experience in setting, rollers, perming and general cuts suitable for elderly clients. Our home provides all required products and equipment and has a fully equipped salon on site.
Responsibilities
As part of the role, you will provide hairdressing to residents and work within our on-site salon. You will participate in the monthly new starter company induction with all new joiners from all of our homes. We will kit you out with uniform, pay for your DBS check, and provide you with regular training.
