We are looking for local people who are passionate about providing an outstanding level of care and going the extra mile for our residents. We have a vacancy at our Heanor Park Care home working 35 hours per week over 5 shifts.
The dementia support worker role relies on a passion to learn, a passion to enable people with dementia to live well, excellent communication skills and the ability to accept a person for who they are.
About The Role
You will be assisting residents with all aspects of their care including assisting with mealtimes and personal care. You will be responsible for administering medication and liaising with outside professionals.
Your experience in dementia doesn’t necessarily need to be paid experience; you might have cared for a family member or friend. Don’t worry about needing any formal qualification, we can support you with this should you be successful in gaining a role with us.
We will pay you an attendance bonus just for turning up to work!
