We are excited to be recruiting for a BSL Care Assistant in our brand-new Deaf Household based in our Heanor Park Care Home! We have an opportunity for people that can use BSL (British Sign Language) to support deaf members of our community. We want you to bring a passion for helping elderly deaf residents maintain an independent lifestyle. We are currently recruiting both full time and part time positions. We will pay you an attendance bonus just for turning up to work!

About The Role

The ideal candidate must be flexible in working all shifts. It might not be that you have any paid experience providing care to others however you may have looked after and given care to a friend or family member. You will need to have experience of administrating medication and possess or be willing to work towards your NVQ3 qualification. Working for an established care provider like Ashmere, you start your journey with us by attending our monthly new starter company induction with all new joiners from all of our homes. We will kit you out with uniform, pay for your DBS check, and provide you with regular training.
