Join Us as a Bank Senior Care Assistant. Are you passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a real difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for dedicated and caring individuals to join our team as Bank Senior Care Assistants, working across our Ashmere homes on a zero hour contract (all within DE postcode areas). You can pick and choose your shifts across our sites.
About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant with Ashmere, you’ll play a key role in supporting our residents and leading the team on shift. Your responsibilities will include:
- Communicating with residents, relatives, colleagues, and visitors in a professional and caring manner
- Providing personal care and assisting at mealtimes when required
- Leading the shift – including staff allocation, administering medication, and liaising with the Home Manager, GPs, nurses, and other professionals
- Showing compassion and commitment to ensuring the highest standards of care
This is a rewarding and varied role where no two days are the same.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in administering medication
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A compassionate, caring approach to residents and colleagues
