We currently have a vacancy for an Activity Co‑ordinator based at The Firs Nursing Home working 37.5 hours over 5 shifts per week.
About The Role
The ideal candidate must be fully flexible. As an activities co‑ordinator, you will be responsible for the activities offering in the home. You will be formulating an activity plan for each individual resident by spending time getting to know their past, likes and dislikes, and families. You will be arranging suitable trips out for our residents as well as arranging for entertainment to come into the home. You will also build up links in the community and build relationships to benefit the residents. We ask the successful candidate to have a full driving licence to drive a minibus and to be flexible over weekends and bank holiday work.
Working for an established care provider like Ashmere, you start your journey with us by attending our monthly new starter company induction with all new joiners from all of our homes. We will kit you out with uniform, pay for your DBS check, provide you with regular training and maybe even spoil you with cake from time to time!
