Do you have experience with Dementia Care? Do you have experience of leading a team? We are looking for local people who are passionate about providing an outstanding level of care and going the extra mile for our residents. We currently have a vacancy at our 12 bed Residential Dementia Household within The Firs working full time hours per week. The ideal candidate must be flexible in working all shifts.

The Dementia Support Worker role relies on a passion to learn to enable people with dementia to live well. Hold excellent communication skills and the ability to speak out on behalf of our residents, ensuring dignity and respect is upheld. You will be assisting residents with all aspects of their care in a person centred manner, and you will be responsible for administrating medication, writing & reviewing care plans and liaising with outside professionals.

Your experience in dementia doesn’t necessarily need to be paid experience; you might have cared for a family member or friend. You will need an NVQ2 in Health & Social Care.
