As we continue to expand our Immigration Department, we are seeking an experienced Immigration Lawyer, Caseworker or Immigration Adviser to play a key role in shaping and developing our immigration practice.

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing firm at an early stage, where you will have genuine input into the design, development and future direction of the Immigration Department.

We are looking for someone who wants more than simply managing files.

The Opportunity

You will manage your own caseload with minimal supervision, advising both individuals and businesses across a broad range of immigration matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied immigration caseload independently from instruction through to completion
  • Conducting client consultations and providing strategic immigration advice
  • Preparing, reviewing and submitting immigration applications
  • Drafting detailed legal representations and supporting documentation
  • Liaising with the Home Office, employers, sponsors and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Keeping up to date with developments in UK immigration law and policy
  • Delivering exceptional client care and communication throughout each matter
  • Assisting with business development and networking activities
  • Contributing to the growth and development of the department

About You

We are interested in candidates who

  • Have a minimum of 3–5 years' experience handling immigration matters independently
  • Can confidently manage their own caseload with minimal supervision
  • Possess strong experience in both personal and business immigration matters
  • Have excellent knowledge of UK immigration law, policy and procedure
  • Demonstrate excellent drafting, communication and client care skills
  • Are organised, proactive and commercially minded
  • Want to grow with the firm and contribute to the development of a successful immigration practice

Desirable Qualifications

  • OISC / IAA Level 3 Accreditation
  • Solicitor or CILEX qualification
  • Immigration law accreditation or equivalent specialist experience
  • Experience with sponsor licence compliance and business immigration
  • Experience preparing appeals and administrative reviews
  • Experience using LEAP case management software
